Collinson Massage School

At the Collinson Massage School, our goal is to provide quality instruction at a reasonable cost. This combination gives each student access to the tools they need to become the very best massage therapist possible, and to achieve the highest level of success in their bodywork practice. We do this by offering the maximum learning potential at the minimum tuition expense, and our hard-working graduates reap the rewards.

New sessions begin throughout the year, with classes conducted on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, from 6:15 - 10:15 pm. Call for current class schedule.

The massage course is designed with the working and/or busy person in mind, with a minimum amount of structured time spent in the classroom and most of the hours spent in self study. Classroom hours are used for the hands-on instruction of massage techniques and other types of bodywork. Hours outside of class are for studying Anatomy and Physiology, conducting required chair and table massages, participating in a mentorship learning experience, and completion of a case study. Students are credited with 21 hours of self-study each week for the completion of these requirements which, combined with classroom time, total 600 hours. The Collinson Massage School was founded by Dr. Torry Collinson, who instructed and administered the program, along with qualified massage therapists for hands-on training. On satisfactory completion of the 1000-hour program, students will have become qualified to seek national licensure and become registered to practice anywhere in the state of Colorado.
